Financial Arrangements

Dr. Berk and his staff strive to make the cost of dental services more affordable. We try to control fees by practicing as efficiently as we can, accepting credit cards, and having extended payment plans.

You can help keep costs down by doing several things.

Keep your appointments. Failed/missed appointments waste everybody’s time and therefore money.
Make sure you give us accurate as well as current information if you have insurance. A incorrect social security number, birth date, last year's insurer, etc. all cause extended delays that drive up costs.
We will try to pre-authorize most treatment plans that involve significant costs, like crowns and root canals, so that you have a better idea of what your financial obligations will be.
We will ask for some fees on the day of service because we have out-of-pocket costs for some procedures. This also minimizes collection problems. Delinquent accounts drive costs up dramatically and eventually everybody pays the cost. When we ask, don’t be offended. Keeping costs down helps us save you money.

INSURANCES

Dr. Berk’s office accepts most dental insurance plans and we are members of DELTA DENTAL. We are also contracted providers for many PPO insurance plans. We process your insurance forms at no charge and utilize electronic claims processing to speed your carrier’s payment.
