Dr. Berk attended UCLA as an undergraduate and received his DDS from the University of California, San Francisco, in 1970. After serving in the military, he began private practice in San Leandro, California in 1972. He moved his practice into Castro Valley in 1991. He has been active in the dental community, serving on the Peer Review Committee of the Southern Alameda County Dental Society for many years. He maintains membership in the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the Southern Alameda County Dental Society. Dr. Berk is a Diplomate of the American Board of Forensic Odontology (more information). He is married and has three children and one grandson. Dr. Berk is a resident of the Castro Valley community and a member of the Chamber of Commerce. In his professional career, Dr. Berk has taken over 1000 hours of continuing education. His patients appreciate that he is able to combine his many years of experience with state-of-the-art treatment choices. His hobbies include hiking, music, bowling and gardening. He is an avid Oakland A’s fan. He continues to further his education by not only staying abreast of the latest advances in dentistry but attending classes (Spanish language) at the Castro Valley Adult School. Dr. Berk enjoys providing caring, compassionate dental services to the Castro Valley community. | ||
